Like everyone else NZ is right in the middle of this recession and quite a lot of people have
unfortunately lost their jobs.
Been there, done that, about 25 years ago when all the import tariffs and Duty on imported audio gear started to be removed and that caused many redundancies in the local electronics manufacturing industry where I was working at the time.
Looking back now that was the catalyst needed to get me off my butt and become self employed,
something I had often talked about but never done, probably mostly because of the safety of a monthly pay cheque.
