Outdoor Smokers beware

Got a tip from a customer recently about wall mounted ashtrays.
He was having some issues with smokers in an entrance to a large
building downtown.

He said to me with a twinkle in his eye "When you mount an ashtray
on a wall in a public area always make sure it is a little above
hip height"

"Why is that?" I asked.

" Well when the drunks come bye at about two in the morning they
often like to kick shiny things. When they kick something above
hip height they tend to miss and end up flat on their back.
Seems to put them off a bit"

This has to be one of those yalearnsomethingeveryday moments.
